How do we protect your information?
We currently contract with a third-party "shopping cart" provider to enable order processing. This third-party, FoxyCart.com, uses a secure server. They assert that they are PCI compliant, Safe Harbor compliant, have multiple security scans (PCI requirements 1, 5, 6), and adhere to best practices wherever possible. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our payment gateway provider's database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. BlueSilk.org does not have direct access to your credit card information.
Your private information (credit cards data, etc.) is neither transmitted by nor stored on our servers.
Cookies are very small pieces of of information that a website may transmit to your web browser as you browse that site.
