Out of the embattled Stung Treng region of Cambodia comes Mekong Blue, a collection of scarves hand-woven by women artisans who are determined to uplift their families from a life of poverty. Using time-honored talents passed down from generation to generation, the women of Stung Treng fashion beautiful creations for a better tomorrow.
Each woman who creates a scarf provides for her family and her future. Each woman who owns a scarf wears a magnificent symbol of tradition and hope.

At the Stung Treng Women's Development Center, women keep 40 looms busy throughout the day weaving hand-pulled silk into a variety of styles—from bold solids to stylish stripes. Mekong Blue scarves are made from the finest 100% all natural silk available and have been recognized by the U.N. as a UNESCO Award winner for their superior quality, creativity and originality. Each scarf is a singular work of art, taking up to three weeks to complete.
Mekong Blue. Where modern style meets ancient tradition. Where a beautiful scarf stands for a better tomorrow.
